Liverpool Museum - Interactive Exhibition
The Liverpool Echo required an interactive timeline for their exhibition space at the new Liverpool Museum, showing the newspapers relationship with the local community over it's 200 year history.
With hundreds of historic photographs, videos and documents to utilise, it was important to develop a system that was user friendly for all ages and allowed a seamless navigation between the timeline and it's content. Accessibility in the form of narration and high contrast text was incorporated for the visually impaired.
While the project was well received by the client, budget constraints meant it never got past these early concepts.
Kirklees College - Interactive Game
Kirklees College were keen to increase early-bird applications from male students. I was assigned to design and develop an interactive penalty shoot-out, targeting this demographic and building up a leads list for future email marketing, via the games data capture.
This rich media game had to be simple and quick to play, while still allowing defeated players an opportunity to enter the competition. A tight turnaround time didn't stop the project from exceeding the clients expectations, with an overwhelming response from prospective students, plans are already afoot for the next installment!
