Making Liverpool the UK's first smart city
In 2013 I was approached by Connected Liverpool whose mission is to make Liverpool the first smart city in the UK and they required a bold and dynamic brand to convey their ambition for a city of the future.
A dynamic smart city brand
With an extremely tight deadline, I created a playful brand and identity to help stand-out from other city brands, including the main campaign artwork (a large composition of vector stock imagery with bespoke landmarks) and numerous Mobile App concepts, culminating in a 150 page strategy document. Finally, I was tasked with bringing the brand alive for video, with a short animation of Liverpool’s isometric city centre.
Connected Liverpool have since appeared at various conferences and exhibitions around the UK and Europe, promoting Liverpool as a forward thinking city and helping to broker investment.
